30 VERMONT TRUE VALUE STORES NOW OFFER FREE FLUORESCENT LAMP RECYCLING

Starting July 15, 2005, 30 Vermont True Value stores will offer free
recycling of up to 6 used fluorescent lamps per customer visit. This
will make recycling these energy efficient, but mercury containing
lamps, much more convenient for homeowners and small businesses. This free service is made possible through a partnership between Vermont True Value stores and the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation.

To find out the location of participating stores near you, and for
information on proper disposal of mercury containing products go to:
www.mercvt.org, or call 1-800-974-9559.
